We are sure having fun and joy in our posterity. Aimee, Shaun, and Cooper sure are making our world a better place. Cooper got a trim and then we took him, his parents, and my dad to Stony Creek in Sequoia and camped for three nights. A bear and several deer wondered in to camp. We went to Crystal Cave, Tharp's log, and saw the General Sherman tree. My dad hiked in and out of Crystal cave and then to Tharp's log, and then to General Sherman tree all in one day. Not bad for a 75 year young man. Cherie, Jocie and the D-Boys came up for a night as well. We came, We saw and Baby we conquered. We played connect four, dominoes, rook, liars dice (great game) and red neck golf. And did I say we fished. I have been fishing in Sequoia for, oh about 25 years, and I have never seen fishing this good. Everyone around us was asking what are you using for bait. We said Crickets and most said yuck. Anyway , my dad caught the biggest fish, but Shaun and I caught our fair share too. The Delgado boys came up and we went fishing with them as well. I won't post that story, but go to Jocelyn's blog to see the phenomenal catch. How can life get any better you ask? Well let me tell you. Amanda and David are coming next Tuesday and we are so excited to have them for the 4th of July. Does the fun never end? We sure hope not. Stay tuned for more.

Memories of this trip will be with my boys their whole life just as I remember fishing with Uncle Randy at stoney creek when I was little. We loved every minute of the trip!!
I love all the pictures, what fun memories they bring about of great times camping with the family. Well, I guess we'll see you in a matter of 72 hours, we’re excited. Bust out the games, Gammy's tacos, The BBQ, heat up the pool and tell work I wont be in for 10 days...hallelujah.
I think Aimee is brilliant for trimming Cooper's hair in the high chair- outside! I will try that next time!

Hey! we are going camping and fishing in a couple of weeks and you were the one that taught me how to fish like 12 or 13 years ago and Im a little rusty. If I were to come over some evening, do you think you could give me a little tutorial on how to put the pole and line and weights and whatever else together? You would be my biggest hero!!!!
