OK. I am stealing Cherie’s idea about flashback. I often don’t have anything to post so now I can use “Flashback”.
“FLASHBACK” It was 11 years ago that my life changed for the better. We had our first grandchild. Hailey Nichole. This little girl changed my life long before she was born. Ultra sounds revealed that she had some major problems, so all the family started to fast and pray. My prayers were much more focused and I was praying for real now. I was begging Heavenly Father for her life. She was born at UCLA medical center with Gastroschisis. Meaning her entrails were out of the abdominal cavity. She had a big hole in her stomach. She was born 8 weeks early and weighing about 4 pounds, having 4 major surgeries before she was 6 months. She was given drugs to paralyze her so she wouldn't move. Her young parents sure had to grow up fast. They are wonderful parents. Christina sure set the bar high for being a mommy. I am very happy to announce, Hailey is perfect now. I often call her Angel face because she is so beautiful and she just turned 11. Can you believe it, that she was born 11 years ago? Hailey, Anita, Christina and I went to Disneyland for her 4th birthday. This little girl is extremely smart and her dad says she is the perfect child. She loves her family and is a great little mommy to her siblings. We sure love her and glad she is ours.
Okay...I guess I am easily forgotten...I too was at Disneyland that day. Dad, did you forget about me? Love the post, Hailey is awesome and I still remember holding her for the first time...what a miracle!
That post is so sweet. I feel like crying. My children are growing up too fast. Hailey has been such a blessing in my life. The Lord has given me an Angel to watch over. Thank you Papa and Grammy for the sweet flashback.
I enjoyed reading this miracle of a story. I love to learn about your family...things I was never aware of. It just shows me that we all have trials to overcome and miracles to witness. Hailey must be a special girl and has a special mission to fulfill. Thanks for sharing that.
I am not trying to be the best in the world, I'm trying to be the best for the world.

INSPIRING STUFF
Marion G. Romney
"I counsel you, my beloved brothers and sisters and friends everywhere, to make reading the Book of Mormon a few minutes each day a lifelong practice. All of us need the uninterrupted association with the Spirit of the Lord. We need to take the Holy Spirit for our constant guide that we be not deceived. I am persuaded by my own experience and that of my loved ones, as well as by the statements of the Prophet Joseph Smith, that one can get and keep closer to the Lord by reading the Book of Mormon than by reading any other book. Don’t be content with what someone else tells you about what is in it. Drink deeply from the divine fountain itself. I feel certain that if, in our homes, parents will read from the Book of Mormon prayerfully and regularly, both by themselves and with their children, the spirit of that great book will come to permeate our homes and all who dwell therein. The spirit of reverence will increase; mutual respect and consideration for each other will grow. The spirit of contention will depart. Parents will counsel their children in greater love and wisdom. Children will be more responsive and submissive to the counsel of their parents. Righteousness will increase. Faith, hope, and charity—the pure love of Christ—will abound in our homes and lives, bringing in their wake peace, joy, and happiness."

What a sweet post. I want to add what an awsome cousin she is. She is such a great example for her younger cousins. We love you Hailey!!
I love flashbacks too, and Hailey sure is cute in this one. I can't believe that many years have passed since she was born.
