WOW. Where do we start? Sometimes in your life you need a transfusion of laughter, fun, excitement, and joy. Well we were fortunate to have it happen to us. Last Saturday during “The Wedding” in LA, we got to watch the “D” Boys, our cute little nephews, and what a fun time we had. Their parents dropped them off about 6:45 and we had them till about 3. What good little boys they are and well mannered too. We watched some cartoons and just chilled. I saw a singing moose on some rabbit show. I think his name was Arthur. Anyway the singing moose sounded familiar. Just by chance when the cartoon was over, I saw the credits. It was Art Garfunkel. I always wondered where he went. Thanks to the “D” Boys I now know. We went to our ward Christmas breakfast and had a ball. Santa even showed up. Then we went home and popped popcorn and each got to fill his own sack and went to Heart Park to feed the ducks. After feeding the ducks, we played on the toys and fished a little. The only time we had a little problem is when it was time to stop fishing and go get lunch. Jared was not happy and said “no I Fish”. Could have been pish, but we'll say fish for now. Sorry Jared we have to go, “No I fish” and started to walk off in the other direction swinging his arms in defiance and kept saying ”Fish”, “Fish”, “Fish”. Kind of a little tantrum, but way cute. Finally we convinced him we can come back some other time. He finally agreed, but wasn’t that happy about the whole thing. We promised him a happy meal at “Mickey D’s”. Thank goodness cooler heads prevailed and Armageddon was put off till another day. It has been a very long time since I negotiated with an almost two years old. I definitely need to sharpen my skills. Thanks boys for a wonderful day. Enjoy the pictures, I know we did.
