Somebody Loves Me

We were at the temple this morning and I had a great experience. Several months ago I was promised in a blessing, if I fulfilled my responsibilities, I would have several great things happen to me. I would meet and make many friends and it would seem like I had known them forever and the friendships would last thru the eternities. It truly has happened. I saw one of my fellow workers today, 82 years young, that I hadn’t seen in two month due an illness. He came thru where I was working and gave me a big hug and said he loved me and had really missed me. I was deeply touched. Some times we don’t confess our true feelings because we are too macho or to busy. How many times have we been to a funeral and wished we had done more or said more to the person, but now it was too late. Carpe Diem. Don’t waste anymore time. Tell those whom have made a great impact on you how much you care. Don’t let another minute go by. Send that thank you card or make that call today. Someone once said, "Love wasn't put in the heart to stay, and Love isn't Love till you give it away. Remember the line from the country and Western song by Brad Coulter, “Wouldn’t it be sad if all we ever had was a granite epitaph, that said I meant too. Today is the first day of the rest of our life; let’s use it wisely. Peace Out.

Im glad you said that. I havent told you all that you have done for me. You are a great example to me. I think my love for the scriptures is because of you. I was lucky enough to have you as my seminary teacher for 3 years. I dont think anyone was that lucky. You always got through to me when any other teacher didnt. I strayed from the church for a little while after highschool but I think that a lot of what you taught me kept me from going too far away. There is a small handful of people that I really look up to and you are one of them. Thank you.

I think you are amazing Randy, and wanted to tell you that. I love how much you love your family- and I love that you blog- and I love that you talk about how much you love your family on your blog! Seriously. I don't think you know how many lives you have impacted for the better, and know that mine is one of them!
