So someone was talking about a daddy daughter dates and ask if I remember any. Of course with 5 daughters I remember plenty. I know I have posted some of these before, but since so few leave comments, I thought it was OK. In 2003 we backpacked into to Jennie lake at 9300 feet. As you look at the pictures, you can see how magnificent the view was. Crystal clear water and crystal clear air. No TV, stereo, radio, or computer. Just us. We were each other entertainment. Man of man what a great time. It was Jen's 21st birthday and we even baked her a cake. Great company, great food, great fishing, great conversation, and great memories. Enjoy the view. I know I did.

So stinkin' fun! I have totally fun memories of this trip...packing the tent in, too funny. Remember we thought about burying, so it would be there for next time. Jenn's birthday cake. Missing David (we'd only been married a few months!) That tough hike...remember when we were totally there, just around the corner and you said only 4 more miles to go...agh! Thanks dad! Thanks for taking us and for packing in a 50 lb. tent and great food and for always being willing for an adventure at a moment's notice!
I have always loved that lake. It's so beautiful. That sounds like fun. What a good dad you are.
