"Doing What We do Best"

“The Out to Lunch Bunch” had its monthly meeting as usual on the first Friday of the month. It started out with 2 or 3 friends having an occasional bite to eat and has grown to 10 or 12. Great company with great friends explains it best. We have casual conversation about politics, the economy, religion, working out, guns, super bowls, fishing, Dodgers, Lakers, Celtics (yuck), sports in general, camping, families, and life. Add in lots of laughter and fun, and you got some primo male bonding. Life can be good. This is the first picture taken to document our meeting for posterity. There were several regulars missing in action today and they were sorely missed. Steve R. and Claire L. are under the weather and we pray for their speedy recovery. A big 'Out to Lunch" welcome to 3 first timers, Manus G., Brian W. and that all around good guy, Doug C. Even though he likes the Celtics, we still invited him. We are so benevolent. If you know of anyone that would like to attend please let me know and I will give them the details. Or you could ask anyone in the picture. If you don’t want to hang around with this bunch, that’s fine, you are probably the source of conversation anyway. Thanks guys, as usual I had a great time and am looking forward to March's meeting with it's exciting and fun packed itinerary.

Thanks for the photos. Not so sure about the slams to the Celtics! Ha Ha! Doug says that he went a few times a long time ago when it was at the chinese buffet on Mt.Vernon.

Looks like fun. I liked the sentence that pretty much said, "If you don't want to be here, we don't want you to be here and we'll gossip about you!" Funny!

So THAT'S why my mail's late once a month! I see my mailman having a good ol' time. He's kinda cute, though.

Hey man, I can't wait to have an out to lunch bunch that doesn't include pb sandwiches. Actually, my kids like Mexican food, so really, I'm all set.
I'm telling you this because you asked before- the play that I'm in? The Ten Virgins? It's March 21. Just so you know. If you don't come, it will not offend me in the least. If you do come, please feel free NOT to torment me or ask me to sing solos at any family parties in the future... because I think I might die.
