What a Difference a Day Makes.

Can you remember much about February 7, 1976? Where were you, and what were you doing. Let me tell what I remember and the high lights of the day. February 7, 1976 I made the best decision of my life. That morning I5 over the ridge route was closed due to snow and so was highway 58 through Tehachapi. The morning was very cold at 4 am and there was a light drizzle. I got into a car with my wife and two little boys. Jason was 23 months and Jeremy was 6 months old. We heard on the radio, that I5 had opened up and we took off for LA. We barely got through and they closed down the freeway again. We made it to the Los Angeles temple and our little family was sealed for time and Eternity and given all the covenants and promises given to Abraham. Two very precious and very memorable things occurred that day. I was sitting a room and saw my wife walk in dressed in her white temple dress. The most beautiful and amazing thing I have ever seen in my whole life and the feeling to this day is indescribable. Then latter, while in a sealing room, with lots of family and friends, my two little boys were brought in also dressed in white. The second most amazing thing I have ever seen and felt. Boy Howdy that was 33 years ago. Later that year in December, we were blessed with our first child born in the covenant. A litle girl and we were so happy. We had no idea that she would be the first of five beautiful girls. We can’t find any pictures of our temple day but we do have a few others, that kind of tell a story. Who would have thought that little family on that cold February day, would have grown in to the familywe have now? We are still growing. At this time we have a little granddaughter on the way and she will be here in May. She will make our 12 grandchild. We also have added two incredible son-in-laws and two amazing daughter-in-laws and are privileged to have them as part of our family. I really love my family. A tender mercy from God. You guessed it; I am having immeasurable Joy in My Posterity!!!!!!
