Domestic Husband Does Good

I get off work around 5:30ish and pick up my wife from her job. If we run any errands, it's 6:30 before we get home. We’re both tired and we don’t want to take the time and don't any mess from cooking, so occasionally we hit the dollar menu at a fast food place. Very fattening and no nutritional value. We know we need to make a change. So I get this e-mail from my daughter-in-law, thanks Eliza, with about 60 or 70 crock-pot recipes. I decide to make one. On the sly I make a shopping list and go shopping at FoodsCo. I made my first meal solo in a long time. Wa La, I made Crock Pot gumbo. Did you know gumbo is an African word for okra? Well it is. Yes I even made a rue sauce. Ingredients included little smokies, Kielbasa sausage, chicken, shrimp, onions, bell peppers, celery, and okra. My wife was very surprised. We served it over rice. Can I just say it was delicious? Mi espousa was very impressed. Yes as a matter of fact I am quite proud of myself, thanks for asking.

What a catch you are. You bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan. way to go. You should get a crockpot cookbook and swear off fastfood for good. That stuff doesn't even taste good.
