Tender Mercies

Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways!! As many of you know Anita’s mom just passed away. It was as lovely a funeral as one can have. With so many siblings and grandchildren, I was honored to be asked to give the benediction. I am also very grateful to be able to have seen three of my out of town children, their families and some in-laws as well. The time went by way to fast, but we enjoyed every moment. Sadly, they have all gone home. Getting early with my grandchildren and staying up late with the kids playing games sure wore out this old man. I wouldn’t trade the time spent with family for all the naps in the world. We also went to Uncle David's to see his chickens. A big hit with the kids and the adults as well. The older I get, the more I realize how imperative it is to prioritize our time and efforts. It is extremely important to get to the good stuff first. All that other is just fluff. Though it may sound trite and redundant; I sure am having joy in my posterity. Is there any greater blessing God bestows on his children than family? (rhetorical). Thank you Father for thy tender mercies.

I loved all the pictures. And I loved being able to talk with Amanda and Sadie play with Brinkley. You have a wonderful family!

I saw Anita's mother's Obit in the online Herald Journal and wanted to touch base. This is truly a voice from the past . . . the old 20th ward days in Logan, Utah. My name is Greg Borchert and Anita and I, and Kim Watts, Holly Hayward, Mike Roskelly, Carla Clyde and others hung out as kids in the late 60's. I'd love to catch up with Anita and the old gang. It looks like you have wonderful family and I can certainly see the family resemblance. If you want to exchange e-mails, my address is gmmjbb2@swbell.net
Stands for my family - Greg, Marge, Melissa, Jeremy and Brad Borchert. Hope to hear from you! Greg
